Overview:
DVD 1- How to Throw Strikes
Coach Anderson demonstrates a
systematic progression of drills
that will help your pitchers
identify and correct mechanical
errors. This 11 step process
incorporates proper grip, stance,
rocker step, leg lift, balance,
stride, arm action, head and
shoulder movement, backside
movement, release, follow through,
and square-up. This progression
can help any pitcher improve his
accuracy and velocity. Anderson
includes three drills that will
help coaches determine the best
"arm slot" for their pitchers. He
also shares a four-drill progression
for building muscle memory and a
drill to help loosen up your
"short-arm" pitchers.

DVD 2- Six Pitches for Building Your Pitching Arsenal
Which pitches are best for you
or your athletes? When is it
safe to start throwing curve
balls? Coach Anderson answers
many of the common questions
about choosing pitches. In all,
he covers six different pitches:
fastball, change up, curve ball,
slider, splitter, and the knuckle
ball, discussing at least two
variations of each pitch. More than
15 total variations are included!
Each pitch includes an overview,
complete mechanics and grips, how
the pitch moves, and the effect
it has on the batter. Anderson
also demonstrates a process for
evaluating every pitcher's strengths
and weaknesses, and how to best
implement these pitches into
their repertoire.
